For over 40 years, the Chen family has been deeply rooted in residential and commercial real estate development in Taiwan, where Ivy Chen grew up working in the family business as a real estate agent before taking over the renovations department. Today, the Chen family focuses on strategic investments and purchasing real estate for cash, while Ivy has taken the lead on the construction side of the business and continues to invest in real estate on her own. Ivy Chen is the owner and driving force behind Luxe Pro Real Estate of Long Island, a firm built on more than three decades of hands-on experience in real estate, design, and construction. Raised in a real estate family, Ivy grew up watching her parents develop residential and commercial properties in Taiwan. She began her career working in the family business as a real estate agent, learning the fundamentals of evaluating properties, understanding markets, and negotiating deals long before she launched her own brand.
Over time, Ivy’s passion naturally expanded from buying and selling to transforming spaces. She moved into renovations, overseeing everything from layout reconfigurations to full-scale rebuilds. This experience allowed her to see passed what a property currently is—she sees what it can become. Her background in development and construction allows her to identify hidden potential, anticipate challenges, and guide clients through every phase of the process with confidence and clarity.
Ivy has also invested in real estate personally, renovating and repositioning properties for her own portfolio. This matters because she approaches each client’s project with an owner’s mindset—focused on value, livability, long-term upside, and smart use of every dollar spent. She understands the emotional and financial stakes involved, because she has been in the same position herself.
